The Alzheimer's Support Alliance Web Ring Alzheimer's is a cruel disease. It destroys the person long before their body is ready for death. Watching a parent or friend disappear into another world is heart wrenching. Someone has said it is the "long good bye" and I know of no better way to describe this disease. This web ring is dedicated to my mother and father who succumbed to this dreadful disease. Me, as the oldest in our family, and my brother and 3 sisters watched helplessly for 5 years as they slowly slipped away. Alzheimer's Support Alliance is a collection of websites sharing information on the disease and stories of coping.
