The Genealogy Tree's Web Rings

The Genealogy Tree's WebRings cover a wide range of topics. Membership in one or more of the Rings that we manage is FREE and simple to set up. By the way, all WebRings are automatically submitted to all major search engines and many social networks....

Are search engines returning too many results for your searches? Are you looking for highly focused web communities to explore and to get more traffic to your pages? You should consider using a WebRing...

This completely free service offers easy access to hundreds of thousands of member websites organized by related interests in easy-to-travel rings.

WebRing is a group of sites with similar subject matter linked to one another in a circle. If you visit a single member site of a WebRing, you'll then be able to visit other member sites by using "Next" and "Previous" links of the ring Navigation Bar.

If you're surfing the web to find particular subject matter,  WebRing is an alternative to using search engines. Since every WebRing has an administrator overlooking the additions to the ring, WebRing member sites tend to stay within the theme of the ring, unlike most search results from web-wide search engines.

If you're looking for a way to attract more visitors to your site, joining a related WebRing can bring you visitors that are interested in the theme of the ring. Since member sites are automatically linked to one another, you'll be receiving referrals from other sites and providing referrals to them at the same time.

What are WebRings?
A WebRing is a collection of similarly themed websites from around the Internet joined together in a circular structure using a specially coded "Navigation Bar". The Navigation Bar provides links to the previous and next sites in the ring allowing visitors a quick and easy way to visit similar websites without having to refer to a "favorites" list or doing a search using a search engine. WebRings use a Navigation Bar to attach websites to a Ring.

What about the WebRings Program that we use?
Our WebRing program is the oldest and most successful Ring program on the Internet. It has everything needed to increase traffic to websites. The Genealogy Tree's Web Rings cover a wide range of topics (see the Categories at the right side of this page).

Membership is FREE and is simple to set up. Visitors can visit any or all of the website "landing or entry pages" within a Ring using the Navigation Bar. What happens after someone comes to your "landing page" is up to you and depends upon how your web page is programmed..... hopefully your visitor will look around and find something that interests them.

Do WebRings Really Work???
Absolutely! They deliver "targeted" traffic. Recent surveys and website traffic measurement programs say "YES". And, one of the best reasons is that Search Engines like them. This means that your web page(s) will get better search engine rankings.
