| 108. Martha Ann PARTIN (Harriet KILPATRICK , Balis Jackson , Joseph Milton ) was born 15 Nov 1852 in Blairsville, Union County, Georgia. She died 29 May 1932 in Hadley, Texas.COMMENTARY by Shirley B. Keasler Reed - The fourth child of Martha and Robert is Martha Ann, my great grandmother. She was born 15 November 1852 in Union County, Georgia. She married Robert Harrison Keasler 21 June 1874 at the home of her Uncle, Elias M. Kilpatrick Sr., in Shoal Creek Township, Cherokee County, North Carolina. She had been living in the home of Elias at the time of the marriage. She died 29 May 1932 in Hadley, Texas. Twins seem to have skipped Harriet but Martha Ann gave birth to twin boys. For more information on Martha and Robert Keasler, see "The James Keasler Family" article in the Keasler Book by Inez Winans. Martha's sister Mary Ann married George Washington Truelove and died in Sweetwater, Oklahoma around 1938-1940. Three of her brothers also moved to Texas, and in fact, were there before Martha. They were: John Abner - died after 1910 in Dallas, Texas; Elisha - died 4 June 1936 at Graham Point, Hunt County, Texas; Jasper Murray- died 29 Sept. 1908 in Dallas, Texas. Jasper was a fireman and died fighting a fire in the Craddock Saloon. Her other sisters and brother William Joseph are believed to have remained in the general area of southwestern North Carolina and the upper Georgia counties. Sarah Ann married Andrew (Jack) Green; Nancy Emoline married William Waldroup; Lucinda, known as Cindy, married Lewis Sutton; Agnes M., known as Aggie, married Andrew J. Loftus. It is not known who Louisa J. or William Joseph (called Joseph) married.
